Crawl Stats gaps are not Page Indexing no-backfill
On 20 Sep 2026 Search Engine Roundtable reported a universal Crawl Stats hole for 15 Sep. Industry history says those gaps usually restore. That is a different recovery class from Mueller’s 11 Sep statement that Google does not back-fill Page Indexing data.
